Hi All,
Good day! Is there any updated procedure on how to shutdown/restart PCCE 11.5?
Thank you in advance!

I don't think there's any real documented process... unless you follow Gary Ford's process in his UCCE book. Here's a good way of doing it... https://community.cisco.com/t5/contact-center/contact-center-system-startup-amp-shutdown-procedure/m-p/3218695#M102500

Old thread.. I know.. but it is as targeted as I could find -
I'm running PCCE 11.5 on Vm servers -
I need to shutdown the B side for maint later this month.
Can I just shut down the server at the VM level (right click server and power off)??
Or is there something within the PCCE servers I should be doing that is safer??
Thanks
Joe

You could, but you'll want to do a few things before that...
What I would do is have Portico up and running on the A side for the Router, Logger, and PGs. I'd start stopping services one-by-one and watching Portico on the A side to make sure the necessary processes go Active (jtapi, pgagent, pims, etc..). Once the services are stopped and the A side is active for the Router, Logger and PGs... then yes, you can shutdown the VM guests. Make sure CVP doesnt have any active calls, and you can monitor this from Ops Console. If there are active calls or there are VXML sessions happening, then simply do a graceful shutdown.
