We have a client that is installing Socialminer because the use email under UCCX 11.5. We have have a problem. We are trying to size the Socialminer server to handle the incoming mail, but there is not a recommendation in the Cisco Design guide for Socialminer.. We want to keep the Virtual size for Socialminer at 2Cvp due to limit room on the servers. Does anyone know how we decide between the Large and the Small server for email traffic. We will not be using chat at this time. Thanks!

Hi,
I moved your question to the SocialMiner forum since your question is better suited here. These are ultimately a developer forum, so I am not 100% sure that someone can answer this question for you. You may do better opening a TAC case.
Thanx,
Denise

Hi,
This is described in the CCX Design Guide "Server Capacities and Limits" section specially Tables 4 and 3.
The SocialMiner small OVA profile goes with the CCX small profile which supports upto 100 agents. Out of these 60 can do emails (not all 100) and the emails volumes that can be handled per hour are as follows
* with smaller attachments - 100 per hour
* for cloud mail servers - 75 per hour
* with larger attachments - 25 per hour
Let us know if more question.
Regards
