We need to Rebuild our UCCE Side B on a new Data Center.

There will be new IP address and host names for all UCCE components Like Rogger,AW,PGs.

Is there any documents available for the steps to be done?

Will the system sync between Sides.

Hello

Depends on the component.
PGs will get in synch.
Routers will get in synch.

For the Logger DB and AW/HDS DB you will need to do some actions.

Logger B:

1. Disconnect old Logger B
2. Install new logger B
3. With ICMDBA tool copy configuration data from Logger A to Logger B
4. Start Logger and keep it up running. It will get all historical data from Logger A.

HDS B:

1. Disconnect old HDS
2. Build new HDS
3. Restore HDS DB on new Server (you can take backup either from HDS A or HDS B, there is no difference. You can use HDS B DB, only if you will be capable to finish your works in 14 days, otherwise, you will need to take HDS A backup)
4. Run the querry against HDS DB: truncate table Recovery
5. Start Distributor services

Hi Kostia,

Is it better to lockout the change during configuration data export and import between logger database ?

Also is it better to stop side A logger service ?

Hi Muhammed,

Your planning to do SIDE B devices so no need to stop A side services. Disable configuration changes on SIDE-A router( DBMaintenance)

  1. Stop SIDE- B Router, Logger, PG and AWD services and test the inbound calls and verify RCD & TCD data and ICM summary table for Logger & HDS.
  2. Once B side Devices are built with the same ICM version and ES or MR.
  3. Stop the A side services and sync Logger configuration from A to B and copy HDS A data .bak file to SIDE- B HDS using Data restore procedure.
  4. Verify the DN, Call type, Agents, SG etc on both the side using SQL DB for data validation.
  5. Then start the services Router A – Logger A & Logger B – Logger A then PG A and PG B.
  6. Verify the router and PG sync using rttest /opctest and Verify PG,PIM, CTI server services state and do the failover.
  7. Test Inbound call flows and verifies the RCD & TCD tables, and DUmplog logs for RTR,CLGR,HLGR,PIM,PG, RPL services for all the devices.

There will be a IP changes for all the components. So This should be reflected in the system using the PG setup right ?

Hi Muhammed,

For changing the IP and Hostname for SIDE – B devices.

Once completed SIDE-B devices no need to start services. Stop SIDE-A services and open web setup for Router, Logger and AWD change SIDE-B Private & Public Ip address or Hostnames. For PG , CTI, Dialer re-run the PG setup and do the same.

Verify DNS forward and reverse lookup Devices name and Ip address in Domain controller. And modify local host entry for ICM servers ( if applicable)

We have configured the AW HDS Server and HDS table is in sync with existing setup. We have done initialize local database and configurations are loaded to the system. But Realtime data is not showing in the  AW database (Agent Real time)

For Agent Real time;

Please check whether AW Sites are added in the PG explorer setup. Tick the "Agent Real time data" and "Agent Historical Data"
