Remove first 3 digits from a string variable within a CRA Script

Is there anyway to manipulate a string variable to remove the first 3 digits and store the manipulated data in another variable?

Here is a script for you that Gets the lenght of the original number, Strips the first 3 digits, store the reminder as strAgentExtension variable.
