Running VM UCCX 10.6.1

Hello All,

I am running on one VM UCCX 10.6.1 and wanted to know if its possible for me to shutdown server softly via utils command and clone server?

Is it supported? Am I going to encounter issues?

Hi AN,

Wen you say "clone" are you meaning to take a snapshot of the UCCX VM?  I know that snapshots are usually not supported and issues such as duplicate host names and IP addresses can be some of the issues you may encounter within you environment.

No I mean "cold clone" - shutdown the server, clone the server - bring back up UCCX.

Yes it is possible to clone server such way. Did it several times before upgrade either major changes to test.
