SAP CRM integration

Hi,

1. I want to make sure that it is possible to screen pop SAP CRM form with variables from finesse and present the queried data accirding to the variables.

2. Is it possible to do so using iframe?

3. Will the poped up SAP CRM work in its native way , i.e. allows data saving to SAP DB, navigates to other SAP CRM screens etc. ?

4. Is it possible to do all the above using NWBC browser SAP uses?

yes, it is possible.

One major concern, is that some CRMs do not allow themselves to be loaded into an IFRAME. For example, Sales Force. There is a Sales Force sample gadget.

A gadget uses an IFRAME to render.

If you are using Sales Force, you may contact them to ask for an exception to have their CRM loaded into an IFRAME, thus, a gadget.

in regards to your 4 points:

1) SAP CRM clientside integration by handing over parameters from Finesse into SAP CRM is not the approach supported by SAP. SAP CRM offers server side API's to build this kind of integrations.

2) it is not supported by SAP to run SAP CRM in an iFrame.

3) see above - yes if you do server side integration and then having SAP CRM as being the native screen. Client side not possible

4) Role of NWBC not clear
