Setting up a LAB Finesse

Hi,

I currently have a production environment running Finesse 11.

I also have a LAB environment where I would like to put Finesse 11 into.

Could I possibly take a snapshot of our production servers and create LAB ones with those images and with different names and then configure it with different IP's and config that would be lab specific?

Or is a fresh install the only way to go. I have a time sensitive ask for a LAB environment and looking for some quick wins

Better go with fresh installation it will take 1:15 minutes to complete. Because for Linux appliance not

Recommended  to change Hostname, IP and DNS address for post installation.

Login to production cfadmin page and copy desktop and team resources layout and paste into Lab.

Later change the Hostname or IP address to lab IP.

I agree with Ram. S on this. Its quick and easy. Once you are done with the install, all you have to do is configure your integration with AW,PG's and carry over any custom desktop layout/Reason codes that may exist. Its more of copy and paste work you have to deal with.
