We are running UCCE 10.0 and have CUCM 10.5. We are setup with CTIOS for the time being. During our install, silent monitoring was not needed and therefore not configured and setup for us.
I have a request now to get Remote Supervisor setup and have been running through some documentation but still a bit confused as I have never worked in an environment where this was used.
For CTIOS, it appears there are 2 ways that it can be setup. 1 - CUCM and 2 - CTIOS????? Is my understanding correct?
Also, if using CTIOS, is there another server(s) that needs to be setup to make this happen?
Would this be internal only?
I have also come across more documentation on "Remote Silent Monitoring". Is this anything at all like the silent monitoring feature that can be turned on during the CTIOS server install for silent monitoring?
