Hi Abhiram,

Currently we are trying to develop an application to perform a single step conference in Cisco Finesse 10.5. Basically one of our customer would like have this functionality. I’ve already gone through the Finesse 10.5 Developer guide. Unfortunately I’m unable to see/find any API’s. Can I request you guys to please confirm whether there are any API’s available or any other alternative to achieve this. In case this feature is not supported/available in current Cisco Finesse version i.e. 10.5.

Could you guys please confirm the road map and will this feature will be included in next release.

Thanks,

Ragini

Hello Tushar,

To be specific try the API(finesse.restservices.Dialog) .Below link refers to all the APIs for Finesse,

Thanks for the link. I’ve gone through it but unfortunately I’ didn’t find anything useful.

Let me brief the issue and scenario we are trying to achieve in our lab.

An Agent/User receives a Citizen’s/customer’s call, He Initiates a consult call with 911(In CTIOS this is SingleStepConf)and only after the call answered by third person(911 - agent)finesse allows to complete the conference. The thing is while we are adding the 911 into the ongoing call the caller/customer goes on hold, which is not desired.

Whereas in CTIOS caller goes on hold just for a fraction of seconds and re-connects to the call. We would like to have same functionality in finesse.

Can you please advise on this. Kindly let me know if you need any more information.

Thanks,
Ragini

Hello Ragini,

I also have a client that is interested in simplified conferencing.  In their case they want to easily add as many as 5 attendees.  I'm curious whether you have figured this out and if you could share your findings?

Thanks!

Jeff
