Social Miner and facebook feed

Hi,

I'm trying to get social miner to integrate with a facebook page. Social miner running 9.0(1)-36, I installed the lasest cop4 file not long ago.

Once i create a facebook and feed and add it to a campaign, I just get Unknown error , Last fetch was Never, success rate 0%.

Does anyone know if there is a log file I can check that might give me some indication as to why this is happening?

Thanks

Elena

Did you try to use IE and FF, heck even try Chrome, I had an issue with Twitter and had to change browsers to get it to authenticate.

I've tried all three, I don't whether I'm missing something with how the Facebook account should be setup now. Under the business page (I have tried setting the page up community, local business etc as well) there is no options for app authorisation in the settings. That option only exists under personal accounts , so when I login to Facebook as the business page admin, I get the redirect from social miner to Facebook, Facebook then tells me this option doesn't exist on business accounts, and I need to login under personal account, which if I proceed, the app appears to be authorised ( I can see it in the account settings option), but I then go back to the red cross symbol on social miner.

Has anyone setup Facebook integration? What kind of account/page did you link it to?

I have, and I just setup as a page under my profile using other: Community from here

I've tried community and business with the same result, as yours is working, can I ask a couple of really daft questions:

1. Which url do you configure in Social miner? I'm asssuming its the webpage of community? http://.... rather than https://

2. When the redirect page appears are you logged on under your personal profile ? Is the app then approved for access under that?

Thanks, I'm sort of clutching at straws here

I used the https and i logged in with my personal credentials.  This might sound silly, but maybe bounce the SM server and try again.

Managed to sort it now, combination of reboots/several attempts

thanks
