SocialMiner : Unable to authorized FB page

Hi all,

I'm trying to add a new feed for FB Fan Page but it seems like SocialMiner (sm2-uccx.dcloud.cisco.com) is redirecting to another URL which is not accessible

http://ccpdemo1.cisco.com/fbredirect.html?host_feedId=sm2-uccx.dcloud.cisco.com_1787888716&code=xxxxxxx

Any idea what is this ccpdemo1.cisco.com?

Hi ,

Check the Facebook page is working or not on your PC . If yes please verify the below settings .

Normally if the public network is reachable it should work . login to socialminer cmPlatform and try to ping Facebook or outside network IP address .

Show network eth0

Utils diagnostest

utils network host facebook.com

1)      Please check and make sure that the proxy is correctly configured (including allowing reverse traffic from Facebook to the SocialMiner server

2)      Confirm with your security team regarding the traffic that is being allowed/blocked on the proxy for SocialMiner. And make sure that the proxy is reachable, after you have checked its configuration.

 Note : Network team has to be open on both side communication , forward & Reverse .
