I would like to know why we have to use tranlation route instead or Send to VRU for IVR based campaigns, even when I have CVP as routing client?

In the translation route to VRU we have to Configure the Network Trunk Group, In the NTG respective peripheral i.e., VRU has to be map to route the call to CVP.
So once Customer answers the IVR call (CPA is detected), Call will be send to CVP call server like Inbound call based on the Routing Script associated DN label.

The Media Routing routing client used by the Dialer didn't used to support appending the correlation ID used with the Send to VRU mechanism. But that has been corrected in later releases starting in either 9.0(4) or v10.
