Hello Mentors,

I need your help to set up the UCCE Home Lab.

Hardware was not a concern, Can run upto 10 VM's with 8GB of RAM each.

I have gone through the below link:

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/uc_system/virtualization/virtualization-unified-contact-center-enterprise.html

I looking for a complete solution demo (Side A and Side B)

CVP

UCCE Core Components

CUCM

Finesse

CUIC

Enterprise Chat and Email

I am planning to have below configuration:

1. Progger ( fully duplexed)

2. Two CVP combo servers ( Call server, vxml server and media server for both side A and B

3. A single AWHDS server

4. Single finesse server

5. A single CUCM Publisher

6. A Single CUSP on vmware

Hi,

Yes, you can set up simplex or duplex based on your Hardware resource availability.

Setup simplex mode with Sprawler

1 VM – ICM ( Router+Logger+AWD+PG+CTI+Dialer) all in one VM

1 VM – CVP ( CVP Oamp, CVP Call+Vxml server)

1 VM – CUCM

1 VM – CUIC

1 VM – Finesse

1 VM – VVB

For Duplex setup

2 VM – ICM ( Router+Logger) Rogger in one VM

2 VM – ICM ( AW)

2 VM – ICM ( PG)

1 VM – CVP ( CVP Oamp, CVP Call+Vxml server)

1 VM – CUCM

1 VM – CUIC

1 VM – Finesse

1 VM – VVB

What help do you need?

I want to know what will be the configuration of VM (cores, memory, nic) and how many total VM will be needed for this setup.

Or Please suggest a better setup than this for a lab environment.

Thank you, Ramamoorthy for your help.

I have thought of the below setup, Please provide your input.

I do have a constraint for storage, So I am Co-allocating UCCE Components

Regards,

Pranjal

For UCCE there is no system inventory hardware validation, So we can increase or decrease the hardware peripheral based on system performance

For LAB setup Database  consideration for the log set as 1 GB max and Data 25 GB ( Logger +AW+HDS)

Thank you for your input.

Can you please guide me on, how to download the OVA/Software for UCCE Component and licensing requirement.

Regards,

Pranjal

You should have Cisco CCO ID to download Cisco software and OVA etc.

For Lab, we can test inbound calls for 30 days with an evaluation period.
