Hi,

Jsut wondering whether this document is still valid for UCCE/PCCE 11.6 with Windows 2012?

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/servers-unified-computing/ucs-manager/116092-vmware-deploy-cklst-ucce-00.html

I do not see mention of doing any of this config in the PCCE install guide & this doc is 6 years old.

Cheers

The VM guest portion of disabling IPv6 and globally disabling TCP Chimney Offload and Receive Side Scaling (RSS) are still relevant for CCE 11.6. Disabling all of the Checksum Offloads within the properties of the vNIC is not necessary anymore.
What you do on the ESXi host is not necessary, but some Cisco partners still do it as a precaution.

Is TCP Chimney Offload and Receive Side Scaling (RSS) disabling still relevant for UCCE 12.0 or 12.x on Windows 2016?

If yes only for ICM nodes or for CVP Server, CVP reporting server as well?

I wonder why this is no longer documented as that link in the first post is now gone too.

It's not necessary to do so, however, you can disable RSS and Chimney Offload if you desire.
