Hi,
Got a CCX 10.5 that misses the first 1.5 seconds of the "You are currently in a Queue" message. This only happens on external calls - internal calls are fine. The message starts in the middle of the sentence.
The welcome message is OK for both internal and external calls.
Can someone give me an idea where to start?

Hi,
by taking a look at the script. Can you post a screenshot of it?

Sorted!
Added 2 second delay after the Unhold step (before playing Prompt).

Er... good, but this is a workaround only. Anyway, it would be good to know why it happens.

"the issue actually after un-hold step, because the system will need to tear down old media and initiate a new media so that why is suggested to add 2 seconds delay before play prompt"

Wow. Never heard about it. Where did you catch this?

BUG! Fixed in 10.6

Hi Rich/G,
This was a defect which I raised on another customer case when this problem was first noticed.
To give more explanation on this one:
In 10.5 the UCCX IPVMS driver is not able to handle the media when it is flushed to the driver for the external calls. This results in truncation of the prompt by 1-2 seconds before the media is actually played.
Fixed in 10.6.

Hi
We are on UCCX 10.6.1 and still experiencing this issue.
Have tried the 2 sec delay as other have suggested but this does not work for external calls.
Does anyone have a fix?
Many thanks
Adam

Hi
I fixed this for one customer using software MTP on voice gateway instead of the CUCM MTP.
