Hi Folks
A quick question if I may please.
Is it supported/possible to have the Cisco Agent Desktop clients and Supervisor Desktops on the outside of an ASA
where the active/standby UCCX servers sit on the inside network.
We have been asked to expand our Contact Centre Service to an wan (100Mb) connected partner.
Had a struggle to find any docs.
Cheers
Rich

Rich,
UCCX Agents can be on the other side of the firewall and anywhere on the WAN.
Here is the link to UCCX TCP and UDP Ports that needs to be opened within the firewall.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/port/7_0/CCM_7.0PortList.pdf
Google has custome serach link for UCCX: http://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=000420533768327936155:z349vbagmdk
Also see UCCX Design Guide: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/custcosw/ps1846/products_implementation_design_guides_list.html
We have 50 UCCX agents who login from different cities over 100MB WAN link, to a central UCCX server, which is behind a pair of firewalls.
Hope this helps.

Yes, clients can be seperated via firewall as long as you open all required ports as outlined in Cisco documentation..
