UCCX 8.0 - prompts not playing.

Hi All,

Script was written on UCCX 8.5 Editor, and tested on 8.5 in the my test system, everything works well.

Go to customer site, and installed 8.0(2).

Upload prompts, script.

Test, and it's just not playing the prompts.

To make sure that it was not the path or filename typo, I clicked on the Play Prompt step and used the Expression Editor > Prompts > Browse Prompt

the files are located in the en_AU default folder so the expression still comes out as P[busy.wav].

I've tried

P[en_AU\busy.wav]

P[en_AU/busy.wav]

however judging by the use of the "browse prompt" method i stated above I assume that there is no need for a directory since

a) it does not put the path when I do this step

b) when I do put the path with different slashes it still doesnt work anyway.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Felix

Hi,

what is the Language set on UCCX? (Check System > Language Information).

Also, what is the language set on the Application that references the script?

If the Application language is en_AU, you don't have to use the directory at all. Just write P[busy.wav].

If you are not sure, just copy the prompt to the default folder, and again, reference it as P[busy.wav].

Thanks Gergely,

The problem was in the application page.

The application was set to en_US.

Once set to en_AU all is good.

Also make sure that it has proper codec on the prompt file.
