Hi,

Does the UCCX 8.5 script editor support web services?.

I found a post in reference to the same by anthony.

Is it the only way or are external web services natively supported by it.

Hi

It is possible to use web services with UCCX, but it's not quite as easy as it could be. Anthony's post is definately a valid method if you are referring to the custom java class one.

Cisco have recommended to me to stay away from custom java and to instead have a 'middleware' server that would do the complex SOAP calls, and respond to simple parameterised HTTP GET calls from UCCX, or HTTP POSTs with params... but I prefer (properly tested) on box solutions.
