I am running version 11.6 UCCX and need to update the password for the uccxhruser as, if it was ever set, no one previously in my position recorded it.
From what I can tell, a password change of the uccxhruser account would automatically update for UCCX CUIC.
Is there anything that I need to be aware of when changing this password in relation to CUIC?
There are no third-party applications currently accessing this database so I am not concerned about that.
"Historical Reporting User (uccxhruser)
This user can connect to the Configuration, Historical, and Repository datastores (CDS, HDS and RDS) and has these privileges:
- Read-only access to Historical, Configuration, and Repository tables.
- Execute stored procedures.
- Create new stored procedures.
As version 11.5 uses this user for the UCCX datasource, in order to update the password, navigate to
Unified CCX Administration menu bar > Tools > Password Management > Historical Reporting User.
