It has been alluded to that in an updated version of UCCE (Enterprise) the user would be able to log into Finesse and change which device they are using essentially switching the device controlled by the RMCM user. However, are there any plans to do this in in UCCX (Express)? If so, which version?
With this whole COVID-19 work from home, we are seeing many agents working from home sometimes and in the office maybe a day or two a week. Supervisors are constantly trying to silent monitor the calls and end up monitoring an empty deskphone, which then makes the IT group responsible for switching the device in RMCM application user. Is there any way to automate this with UCCX through Jabber or Finesse using API's?
