UCCX on button login issue

Hi        There

I got a problem to login the agent using one button login

After I entered the userID, password and extension, I got the following error message on the phone

"An error was received from the LDAP service and entries made in the log file"

The service URL is pointed to the uccx server and the port is 6293

Also the LDAP port is 389

I do not have access to the LDAP server since I am not Windows server admin

Any suggestion for this problem

Could you post the UCCX version details ? Is this an HA or non-HA setup ?

Usually, we can resolve such issue by restarting the Cisco Browser and IP Phone Agent Service on the Primary UCCX server. Sometimes it needs CUCM CTI Manager service restart too.

That error generally means LDAP service has issues accepting connection - As stated by GP it can be an issue with the IPPA service or LDAP \ directory sync service

I would suggest you to restart all the services related to CAD or bounce the boxes - Primary first and when the server is up restart the secondory

Actually Primary is enough ( assuming agents are connected to Primary node ) but Yes better to restart it on both boxes to avoid similar issues after failover.

If nothing helps, it would need complete reboot of UCCX Cluster.
