Hello Guys,
we have a cucm cluster of 7 nodes with 2 tftp. we have 2 uccx separate cluster that are integrated with this cucm cluster. Would it be wise to stand up another node in our cucm for a new UCCX cluster integration.
is there any SRND note available pertaining to this to make a better decision.
UCCX 11.6

Hi Ravi Kumar,
There is no limit to the number of Unified CCX clusters supported with a single Unified CM cluster as long as the combined agent phones, CTI ports, and CTI route points that are utilized by all Unified CCX clusters are used to size Unified CM. So in your case check maximum ports, CTI route points and Agent phones that your cluster can support.
Thanks!

Hi Ravi Kumar,
You might want to talk to your account manager to get that access issue resolved, only Cisco Employees or registered partners have access to the sizing tool.
if you don't have access, I would say check the OVA template you have deployed, based on that you can decide how many CTI route points, CTI ports, and Agent phones you have currently, you will get an idea, hope this helps
Thanks!
Jinto.

Ravi,
There are no such document other than -
One thing that you need to check is virtualization and number of cti connection a node can entertain (configurable parameter). If number of user getting authenticating, controlling, monitoring increasing that threshold can cause outage.
There should be redundancy in the design and optimization.
Other things included-
If this is bIg environment pub should be use as cti server
There should be dedicated cti nodes to handle this traffic
Global catalog port should be use for authentication
