Unable to activate Smart license for CVP & ICM in PCCE 12.5.1 setup

Dear All,

 

Unable to activate Smart license for CVP & ICM in PCCE 12.5.1 setup. We can telnet this address from Primary AWD server “ telnet tools.cisco.com 443”

 

We were able to complete the License Type, Transport setting except for Token  Registered. Getting the below error please let me know the reason.

The firewall team has opened all the required URL & Ports and telnet is a success.

 

The same way we tried for UCCE & PCCE 12.5.1 customer it was working fine.

I mean the same steps we followed few customers and working fine. But this customer we were able to do telnet and firewall team allowed cisco smart license url..

finally, we have activated the smart license and the issue is the Firewall end. 

when you have an issue try to do it from AW and CVP: telnet toos.cisco.com 443 and open from browser : https://tools.cisco.com/its/service/oddce/services/DDCEService

CAn you clarify what you mean at the end? You say it worked for a UCCE & PCCE 12.5 customer, but at the top of the post you mentioned that it isn't working for a PCCE 12.5 customer.

Is it only certain components you're having issues with? Or certain types (i.e. PCCE works but not UCCE)?

This may be a dumb question, but are you sure your customer doesn't require a proxy to allow the servers to communicate out? We had a case where servers could hit the internet no problem but traffic couldn't come back, and it was due to a proxy needing to be used.
