Upgrade UCC Express 4.5 servers from a MCS-7825-I2-CCX1 to a 7835

We have a UCC Express with the server above. Now we need to upgrade to a bigger server due to a contact center expansion.

I did not find any document in Cisco.com about this subject.

Is it only a hardware migration?

What is exactly the model of 7835 servers?

Hi,

I think, that you should export the configuration from the old server 7825-I2 and import that configuration in the new server (7835) using BARS application. Really, it's a software reinstallation.

I will use the MCS-7835-I2-CCX1.

It will be a hardware migration followed by 18 seats add-on, but the seats add-on is not a problem.

Hi,

then you should install the software in the new server and restore a backup from the old server using BARS like I tell you in a my last post. I supose that you'll install the same software version in the new and in the old servers, won't you?
