Hi,
Ive sucessfully got the 'Alternative Wallboard' application working on my lab UCCX7. This is the blue wallboard.
My question is that i was wondering what wallboard options there are without making this authentication change to the SQL DB adding roles etc? Im a little anxious about making the change as its not supported by TAC for one and i dont know enough about SQL to understand the consequenses

Hi,
your best bet would be - provided you have the Premium CCX package:
1. create a HTTP enabled aef script,
2. use the Get Reporting Statistic Step to fill a variable/variables
3. present these values as a HTTP response
4. include the HTTP response in the wallboard.
About the possibilites of the Get Reporting Statistics step take a look at the Cisco Unified Contact Center Express Editor Step Reference Guide, Release 7.0(1), page 324.

hi,
this sounds very promising as i have already had requests to tweak the wallboard app that works in the lab. The only problem is that im not very good at HTTP either. Do i need to put the HTTP responses into an ASP or HTTP Page?

Oops.
Well, actually. I *guess* you mean ASP or _HTML_. In this case ASP would be easier, although you can play with asynchronous Javascript in a HTML page as well.
