Hi Bilal,

As far as I know, Webview is discontinued after 7.5. Cisco Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC) is the new reporting platform moving forward for UCCE.

Cheers,

Nathan

Actually, Webview is still part of the product in version 8.0(x), however it is gone, replaced by CUIC in version 8.5.

There is no download of Webview as it is part of the media.  You would need the 3rd Party Tools CD as well as the UCCE media to install webview.

There is also no upgrade from Webview to CUIC, they are completely separate products.

Thanks a lot.

And I can upgrade from webview 7 version to CUIC 8 version as webview has been discontinue?

In that case, for upgrading the database I am going to use EDMT?

Regards

Bilal

Our current IPCC is version 7 and we are going to upgrade for version 8.5, so what shall we do in the webview database as webview will not be available any more in verion 8.5?

About the CUIC and the WebView, is the only solution to order the 3rd party CD? No way to download?

Regards

Bilal

To your questions:

Question: Our current IPCC is version 7 and we are going to upgrade for version 8.5, so what shall we do in the webview database as webview will not be available any more in verion 8.5?

Answer :  You no longer use the WVDB within UCCE version 8.5.  That database is only for Webview.  CUIC uses data sources that you define, specifically the AWDB database which contains views to historical data as well as configuration data.

Question: About the CUIC and the WebView, is the only solution to order the 3rd party CD? No way to download?

Answer : I think you misunderstood.  The 3rd Party CD is ONLY for Webview third party tools.  For CUIC 8.0(x) and 8.5(x) the product ships with the UCCE 8.x media.

CUIC 8.0(3) documentation can be found at the following link.

I don't suppose this being 2020 and me replying to a thread dated many years ago I will get many replies, but I am looking for an answer related to a Linksys SR224G device.  Specifically, I was wondering if there was a way to mirror a port (mirroring).

You're in the wrong group, this is for discussion re: contact center technology, you'd probably want to search in and/or post in the wireless one, like here https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless-and-mobility/bd-p/5956-discussions-getting-started-wireles
