Hi,
Hopefully simple question. I'm doing the "Cisco DNA Center Platform - Network Devices" lab. It uses the always on DNAC instance at https://sandboxdnac.cisco.com. The lab shows some API calls that look like a holdover from APIC-EM, to list network devices and a subset of those devices by IP/MAC address. IE, not intent-based API calls.
Anyway, I wanted to find the API doc for the API calls in the lab, and it took some looking around. I found them in the API doc of the always-on DNAC instance only in the API version 1.0 and 1.1. All the API doc details for API version 1.2.x (several listed) do not list the API alls in the lab, but instead list only the intent APIs. However, the two always-on instances (running 1.2.6 and 1.2.10) do accept the API calls that aren't listed in the 1.2.x API docs.
So my question is one of documentation and convention. Should we be looking at every version of the DNAC API doc for find all supported API calls for DNAC? Is there a better source for DNAC API documentation that is comprehensive? I'd like to get a thorough idea of what's possible with the DNAC API, so any pointers in how to navigate the API doc would be appreciated.
Thanks!
