Hi,

How can I change vlan for existing service profiles?

I manage to change mtu by:
Selecting  service profile
$sp = Get-UcsServiceProfile -Name Test
Selecting eth0  from previous selected service profile
$eth0 = $sp |  Get-UcsVnic -Name eth0
Setting MTU on selected eth0 from profile "Test"
$eth0 | Set-UcsVnic -Mtu 9000 -Force

I don't see the way because I can't list VLAN name associated on ethx with get-VnicVlan.
Please help

Thanks!
Br,
Reni

Hi Reni,

Assuming you have created a new VLAN called "production_vlan500" and you're replacing an old one called "production_vlan300", you could do this:

$sp | Get-UcsVnic -Name eth0 | Remove-UcsVnicInterface -Name "production_vlan300"
$sp | Get-UcsVnic -Name eth0 | Add-UcsVnicInterface -Name "production_vlan500"

Hope that helps,

Sage

Hi Sage,

Adding is working but for removing it I need to save desired vnic Interface and then I'm able to remove it:
$vlan300 = Get-UcsVnicInterface -Name production_vlan300
$vlan300 | Remove-UcsVnicInterface -Force

Thanks for hint!
