Release 3.0.1 CVD
The Systems Development Unit (SDU) is pleased to announce immediate availability of the Cisco VMDC Release 3.0.1, an incremental enhancement to VMDC 3.0, which provided FabricPath based infrastructure designs for the Unified Data Center. Positioned for Private and Virtual Private Cloud deployments, VMDC 3.0.1 includes the following enhancements and additional HW validation:
- ASA Clustering with ASA5585 Appliances connected to Aggregation-edge via vPC.
- ACE-4710 vPC connectivity to Aggregation-edge
- VIC1280 in B-Series UCS System for VM-FEX deployment
- Sup2E/F2E cards in Nexus 7000 to define aggregation edge
- Expanded implementation guidance for the VSS DSN connected to Aggregation-edge via vPC.
- Sup2/F2 based Access-edge with FEX 2232 and Host vPC
