Community Live - Application Centric Infrastructure: Introduction and Configuration Best Practices

This session provides an overview of the Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solution, its hardware and software architecture, and the policy/object. An analysis and description of the functions and control plane protocols involved on the fabric discovery process are provided. In addition, experts explains the concepts of VLAN pools, domains, tenants, virtual routing and forwarding (VRF), application profiles, endpoint groups (EPGs), bridge domains, and contracts.
The event includes a live demonstration that covers key concepts, the best configuration command practices, and basic troubleshooting techniques.

aavilapi.jpgAlejandro Avila is a Solutions Support Engineer on the Application Centric Infrastructure team at the Customer Experience (CX) Center. Before Alejandro joined the ACI team, he worked on the Enterprise Routing and Switching team troubleshooting different devices and platforms such as Metro Ethernet switches, Catalyst platforms, and Industrial Switches. He has experience in Data Center Routing and Switching technologies, particularly on Nexus devices that run NX-OS. Alejandro holds a CCNP certification on R&S.
omarhe.jpgOmar Hernandez is a Technical Consulting Engineer on the Application Centric Infrastructure team at the Customer Experience (CX) Center. Before Omar joined the ACI team, he worked as a Network Consulting Engineer where he designed and implemented Data Centers with ACI and Nexus devices (NX-OS). Omar holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication engineering from Mexico’s National University (UNAM). He holds a CCNP on R&S and Data Center.
