10G support on Nexus N9K-C9364C Switch

Hi,

Can anyone confirm that although the N9K-C9364C switch is marketed as 40/100G on all its ports, that 10G is supported on ports 49-64 with a QSFP-to-SFP+ adaptor (QSA) with firmware 7.0(3)I7(latest), but with an upgrade to 9.2(latest) code, 10G is supported on all ports. This is what the new Transceiver Compatibility matrix tool is suggesting and looks to be correct from the output of the "show int <x> capabilities", but I cannot find it documented in any release notes.

I have also discovered that the NX-OS Essentials licence for this platform (NXOS-ES-XF2) is recognised with 7.0(3)I7(latest) but not when migrating to 9.2(latest). The NXOS-ES-XF2 licence was introduced in 7.0(3)I7(6), but doesn't appear to have made in to the 9.2 train yet, although the upgrade to 9.2 doesn't preclude the use of a feature that was displayed as active when the licence was applied to box running 7.0(3)I7(6).

Cheers,
Matt
