Breakout on N9K-C9372PX-E

Hello,

Could someone please advise on why breakout feature seem not to work:

Software

  BIOS: version 07.69

 NXOS: version 9.3(10)

  BIOS compile time:  04/08/2021

  NXOS image file is: bootflash:///nxos.9.3.10.bin

  NXOS compile time:  7/8/2022 9:00:00 [07/08/2022 14:10:17]

I am perplexed that Cisco TAC obviously does not understand their own architecture; Cisco TAC recommend to upgrade this NX switch to RN 9.3.10 in order to gain the breakout functionality. I hope some of Cisco Engineers reading this post and charming in to this discussion. Thanks Netmart.

Breakout is not supported on ports connected to the NS ASIC (ALE) .. I.E. the 40g ports on 9372, the 6 40g colored ports on 9332PQ etc.. There's a document here that explains the limitations , of which there are A LOT unfortunately:
