I'm not an IT professional & my IT supplier isn't familiar with your Catalyst 1000 line.
2 Questions before deciding on a switch.
Can you use the Catalyst 1000 2960L-SM-24TS with programming?
Also, thought I saw somewhere that it was discontinued & so I was leaning toward the Catalyst 2960L-SM-24TS
Read both manuals and they say models need to be mounted either flat or ports down.
This doesn't work well where I have my switches.
Can I mount them ports up ?
