Cisco 4500 series chassis supervisor installation

HiHi community members,

I got a cisco was-x45-sup6-e for ws-C4507R-E chassis.

On installing the card on the chassis and powering on there was no communication on the console connection.

However when i install a second card on the same chassis i was able to console into the second supervisor engine.

When i  'run sh module '

I can only see the second card but can't see the first.

Also when i  run 'sh redundancy'

The first one shows as disabled while the second is active.

How can i sort this out?

Try in different slot and see it if that boot and you can see any boot up logs, if no logs, may be indicate that sup engine is bad or faultly, raise an a tac case to investigate or do RMA.

Looks like having issue with hardware, worth opening a TAC case for RMA.
