Does vCenter Server Eval License allow Nexus 1000v VSM installation?

Hi,

I'm running into an issue when installing Nexus 1000v VSM on an evaluation copy of the Vcenter Server 4.0 - it does NOT allow me to pick up the server. I'm doing OVF template installation through the vcenter GUI.

Does the evaluation version of vCenter server 4.0 support nexus VSM?

I also notice that the (add) new vnetwork distributed switch is greyout on the Vcenter, which could be an indication that the eval copy of Vcenter server does not permit VSM to be installed.

Please let me know.

Yes.  The evaluation license for vCenter is Enterprise Plus - which all feature are enabled.

Thanks! My issue was related to my existing Dell 2850 PC not suppporting virtualization (VT) at the bios level. Hence,  I could not installed a 64 bit version of the VSM.
