I have a pair of Nexus 9508 in NX-OS mode with dual supervisors and dual controllers. Whenever we do the upgrade we get TAC recommendation for NX-OS image and installation options. So far all upgrades have been disruptive and we had to take downtime. Needless to say that it is a big hassle and we always end up shutting down data center to avoid VM and storage corruption.
I have read about Enhanced ISSU which is supposedly non-disruptive due to zero data plane downtime and six seconds control plane downtime. But so far it is only available on select platform (Nexus 3000, 9200, 9300 series).
I am wondering when the EISSU feature is going to be available on Nexus 9500 platform?
