With my 3 years experience with Cisco Nexus switches, 2 times i was situation when Cisco Nexus SW suddenly started to black hole all data plane traffic while management and control planes was OK. Only reboot helped. First time it was after reboot of Nexus 9k. Last time ~1 week ago, suddenly data plane traffic stopped while control, and mgmt planes was OK causing prod failure for about ~40mins. It was really hell till we managed to reboot it connecting via keep alive link (mgmt plane).
The worst thing about it that control plane still works and all OSPF adjacencies are established. Last time it occured with this type of switch:

Yes, i know it's old, and the uptime was high (i think several years) but still this is not acceptable. Have you encountered any of simmilar situations ? Thanks.
