How can i add the vem host to vsm without vc? Can i add two nics of the same host to two diffrent VSM?

I have some questions of nexus 1kv below,I wish someone will help me,thanks!

1.How can I add the vem host to vsm without vc?

     I can add the vem to vsm with vc successfully. But I want to know can i do it without vc?

2.Can i add two nics of the same host to two diffrent VSM?

     I switch on two VSM,and there is another esxi 5.0 host which have 3 nics.

     One nics is used as management traffic. And I add the second nic to the first VSM successfully.

      When I add the last nic to another VSM witch vc,it pop-up error "vim.fault.platformconfigfault".

3.When I switch on two VSM,the VSM pop-up “ Dropping received frames from duplicate VSM saddr (0x1010000) - kernel” every 90s.

      Why does this happen? I just know the default refresh time of cdp is 60s,but not 90s.

Here are the answers to your questions:

1) NO - you cannot add a VEM to the VSM without the VC.

2) NO - Same VEM cannot be part of two different VSM

3) Again, since you cannot add the VEM to two different VSM you are seeing this message. You typically see this message when you have two VSM in the same control VLAN with different domain ID.
