Is "layer3 peer-router" available on the Nexus 5548?

I have a pair of Nexus 5548 switch as vPC and they are running "n5000-uk9.7.1.5.N1.1b.bin" firmware. I want to peer OSPF between the two 5548 and a L3 device. I do have "peer-gateway" configured under vPC and I also want to enable "layer3 peer-router" feature...But just realize the "layer3 peer-router" command is not even available on the 5548...The release note for v7 below shows "From Cisco NX-OS Release 7.3(0)N1(1), the Operational Layer 3 peer-router behavior is disabled by default. Use the layer3 peer-router command to enable the Layer 3 peer-router functionality.".

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5500/sw/release/notes/7x/Nexus5500_Release_Notes_7x.html

Does it mean the command is only available in v7.3(0)N1(1)? If so, then why the v6.x configuration guide below shows "Enable the Layer 3 peer-router on both the vPC peers, to form peering adjacency with both the peers:"?

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5500/sw/interfaces/6x/b_5500_Interfaces_Config_Guide_Release_6x/b_5500_Interfaces_Config_Guide_Release_602N12_chapter_0100.html#task_01F1001E6C0A4DFABD599173B6D6EA36

BTW, the same configuration guide for v7.x shows the same...

Please advise!
