Microsoft unicast NLB with 1000v

Hi,

We recently upgraded our 1000v to the latest firmware, and with that came the feature for setting up unicast MS network load balancing.

We have been trying to get this working and the NLB wizard on the server fails.

I was just wondering if anyone had managed to get this to work. The documentation is a bit light on how to configure.

FYI for the community - unicast is not supported on Cisco UCS today that is why this was not working.  IGMP Multicast has now been used.

Also within the vlan where the nodes are IP IGMP snooping needs to be disabled and only where the nlb nodes are

1000v ----

conf t

vlan 999

no ip igmp snooping

in the northbound switch you need to have a igmp querier setup in the same vlan.
