Having a HSRP Active node in DC1 and a HSRP standby node in DC2 will never work because of vPC: in a nutshell, having HSRP Active + Listen in a vpc domain is not supported and will blackhole traffic on the HSRP Listen node.
I would recommend adding HSRP isolation between VPC domains and having the VIP active in each DC.
If i set the vip the active on each dc with hsrp isolation acl's, how can i stretch the vlan between the DC? can you recommends some migration strategy or a document to improve my knowledge about this migration ?
