My two 6Ks can't have access to the same fabric extenders at the same time

image.png

I red the whole Cisco documentation
This is a part of my config, and that picture just represent one fabric extender but in reality I have connected four 2ks to those two 6ks.

Basically the 6k with higher priority obtain the 2ks and the other one doesn't have access to them,

I made a domain between 6ks and management interface and peer link, everything is in up state, and peer is alive and adjacency is formed,

when I run the command show fex on the 2nd 6k those 4 FEXs will show up and under state column it says as far as I remember offline or disable, and when I run show int stat, the Fexs are not part of my interfaces, but they show up as online state and under show int stat on the other 6k,

the second I unplug the fabric extender from the other 6k it will be obtained by this 6k.

the only thing I am suspicious about is the NX-OS version, do you think that is related? or do you think there is something wrong with my config? how can I verify and be certain that at least I have active/standby here?

Re: My two 6Ks can't have access to the same fabric extenders at the same time

Your configuration is incomplete. In order for the two 5Ks in vPC to register the same FEX at the same time, you must configure vPC in the FEX uplink port-channel.

There's a walk through on how to configure evPC here.
