Hi, does anyone done with two fex switching change places and number?

For example:
I got two fex model: N2K-C2348UPQ & N2K-C2232PP, these two model was separate in different racks,
Nexus-5696# show fex
FEX                     FEX                    FEX                           FEX
Number        Description              State                        Model
------------------------------------------------------------
121               FEX0121               Online             N2K-C2348UPQ-10GE
122               FEX0122               Online             N2K-C2232PP-10GE

now I wanted to switch this two model's racks and fex number with it without moving any cables.
So in my understanding, I should copy/backup the config of these two fex model before disassociate fex,
then move it to new fex port.

Am I right about this? Or is there better way to do?

 - You should save the running configuration of the parent switch ; when the fex are replaced ,port numbers appear again in order as to the first fex that comes online , map the and or configure the ports according to the previously saved port data from the (previous) running configuration ,
