after me check working monitor session

how monitor session 2

state : down (Session admin shut)

why me insert command - no shut in monitor session

and monitor session still - shutdown ???

no any log

help please, how to up monitos session. command "no shut' not working !!!

Hi,

1. Are source and destination ports admin up?

2. How many other SPAN sessions you have configured?

3. Do you see any errors in the 'show logging log' during the time of the configuration?

4. Do you see any FAILED commands in the 'show accounting log' during the time of the configuration?

I had the same problem but in my case Netflow (sflow) was configured on my Nexus switch. On Cisco Nexus 9300-EX/FX/FX2 platform switches, SPAN, and sFlow cannot both be enabled simultaneously. If one is active, the other cannot be enabled. Remove slfow configuration or disable feature sflow .

me downgrade NX-OS to nxos.7.0.3.I7.8.bin

switch(config)# monitor session 1
switch(config-monitor)# no shut 
ERROR: SFLOW is configured. Please delete all SFLOW data sources before configuring SPAN sessions

if me install nxos.9.3.3.bin - no error message if me try enable monitor session 

on Nexus N9K-C9396PX sflow and port mirroring work together

On Cisco Nexus 9300-EX/FX/FX2 platform switches, and Cisco Nexus 9500 platform switches with EX/FX modules, SPAN and sFlow cannot both be enabled simultaneously. If one is active, the other cannot be enabled. However, on the Cisco Nexus 9300-EX/FX/FX2 and the Cisco Nexus 9500 platform switches with EX modules, both Netflow and SPAN can both be enabled simultaneously, providing a viable alternative to using Sflow and SPAN.
