Need to upgrade nexus 3k NXOS

Hi,

My organization is planning to upgrade nexus 3048 & 3172T NXOS from version 6.0(2)U6(10) to version 7.0(3)i7(7)

can anyone help me how can i go ahead for this, can i directly upgrade version 6.0(2)U6(10) to 7.0(3)i7(7) or need to upgrade version 7.0(3)I2(1) first then upgrade to further releases.

i have search lot of Cisco docs but get confused, so please suggest.

Hi

As you can check on the release note (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus3000/sw/release/70322a/n3k_70322a_nxos_rn.html#_Toc439845201) from 6.0(2)U6(3a) and later, you can upgrade directly.
However, the version 7.0(3)l2(1) you're referring to isn't the latest and recommended version. The recommended one is 7.0(3)l7(7) and you can still upgrade directly from your actual version (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus3000/sw/release/703i77/n3k_70377_nxos_rn.html#UpgradeMatrix)
