Our existing nexus 5k is connected to the Cisco UCS fabric and native FC storage. The 5k is also connected to the LAN network. The default system qos policy for 5k is attached and system wide jumbo mtu option is enabled for the default class. We have a requirement to connect an iSCSI storage as well. The fcoe will still use the default qos-group 1 and iscsi will use qos-group 4. The 5k ports connecting the iscsi storage will be tagged with qos 4. The approach is to create new class-maps for FC, iSCSI and default-class and attach thease to the system qos.
Is it recommend to use "pause no-drop" for both FC and iSCSI class types (class-fcoe, class-iscsi)?. What bandwidth % values should be configured for the in/out queuing policy for FC and iSCSI?
Anybody please advise or comment?
