I have nexus 5596up with module n55-m160l3, and I'm interesting how can I see how much traffic goes through n55-m160l3? Maybe there is something command for it?

Hi @dijix1990
That's the L3 daughter card. I do not have one around to check internal commands, but because only routed traffic is sent to the module, one way to verify the volume of traffic sent to it, is to monitor the statistics of SVIs.
Cheers,

Hi @dijix1990
Try the command:
show interface vlan <id> counters
If it doesn't work, could be possible that you have an old NXOS release. Try an upgrade and very afterwards.

sh int vlan 2198 counters -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Port InOctets InUcastPkts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vlan2198 0 0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Port InMcastPkts InBcastPkts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vlan2198 0 0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Port OutOctets OutUcastPkts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vlan2198 0 0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Port OutMcastPkts OutBcastPkts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vlan2198 0 0

Do you have L3 license installed?
Is there any routed traffic on vlan 2198? Note that ONLY routed traffic is displayed here.
Normally the counters listed in "show interface counters" can be also translated in SNMP counters.

Sergiu

of course, we use nexus as L3 core (Release 7.3(8)N1(1)
)
sh feature | i ena dhcp 1 enabled fex 1 enabled hsrp_engine 1 enabled interface-vlan 1 enabled lacp 1 enabled lldp 1 enabled ospf 1 enabled pbr 1 enabled private-vlan 1 enabled sshServer 1 enabled vpc 1 enabled
sh license | i LAN INCREMENT LAN_ENTERPRISE_SERVICES_PKG cisco 1.0 permanent uncounted \ INCREMENT LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG cisco 1.0 permanent uncounted \

Do you see the same results on all SVIs with the command "show interface counters | grep Vlan"?
06-14-2022 11:29 PM
yes the same results for all SVIs, I think it maybe a bug, I'm going to try new firmware 7.3(11)N1(1)

Yep, better check the newest firmware. Let us know the results after the upgrade.
Take care,
Sergiu

Can you also check this command:
show interface counters detailed snmp
