Hello.
I'm having problems with TCAM carving on Nexus 9000v release 10.1(1).
VXLAN configuration on the 9000v requires TCAM carving. Specifically, the command "hardware access-list tcam region arp-ether 256 double-wide" needs to be entered. To do this, other areas of TCAM need to be reduced. The process is...
1) reduce TCAM usage to make room for arp-ether
2) save config
3) reload
4) increase TCAM for arp-ether
5) save config
6) reload
The problem is that these changes do not survive the reloads on 10.1(1) for very long. This works perfectly on 9.3(x), but on 10.1(1) these changes only survive a reload for a short amount of time, then go back to defaults as soon as the "system ready" message is displayed.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Thanks,
Bruno
