This may need to go to the development forums but I figured I would start here as it is related to a 9k. I have read through the docs that 3rd party packages are allowed to be installed via bash shell. I'm on a 93120 just as a test and I'm trying to install git so I can clone my scripts repo directly to the SUP and also have the ability to backup the config via git. When I do a "yum install git" it's as if the repos installed are completely empty and no packages can be found by that name. I looked for the typical yum.repos.d directory in /etc but all that's there are yum-groups.xml files that don't look like standard repo configs.
Anyone successfully get any 3rd party packages installed on their 9k? If it matters, i'm running 7.0(3)I7(6) on the 93120 i'm testing this with.
