Hi, has anyone any idea why I sometimes get the following when trying to configure a brand new Nexus 56128P?
NX-OS
kickstart: version 7.3(0)N1(1)
system: version 7.3(0)N1(1)
switch(config)# clock summer-time BST 5 Sunday March 01:00 5 Sunday October 02:00
We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System
Administrator. It usually boils down to these three things:
#1) Respect the privacy of others.
#2) Think before you type.
#3) With great power comes great responsibility.
Password:
Sorry, user admin is not allowed to execute '/usr/sbin/zic -d /etc/shared /tmp/localtime' as root on (none).
zic error 0x256
switch(config)# 2019 May 2 15:03:29 switch %$ VDC-1 %$ %AUTHPRIV-1-SYSTEM_MSG: admin : command not allowed ; TTY=ttyS0 ; PWD=/var/sysmgr/vsh ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/usr/sbin/zic -d /etc/shared /tmp/localtime - sudo
The only way I've found around it is to write erase and reload.
Thanks in advance
